My Story
My name is Mario. I also go by DJ Zario, EDT, Angel Pruitt. I am a writer, producer, DJ, poet, & a tee shirt designer. But before all of that, I am a father. I was born in Dallas Texas at Parkland hospital & raised in a little city called The Colony. I have been a writer/performer for over 25 years. I have been a DJ for over 15 years now. Most of my free time gets spent with my son, daughter and beautiful wife. I also spend my free time recording music but mostly as a DJ now.
I started writing & recording music at age 9. I wrote rhymes & used my dads tape recorder to create my little mix tapes. While most kids wanted to go outside & play, I wanted to create music. I started to produce music & DJ in my early 20s. Being influenced by so many different types of music has helped shape me into a the DJ that I am today. Growing up in a house where Tejano & Spanish music was played in my early years, gave me a good understanding & love for Latin music. I gravitated towards hip hop as a kid. The golden age of hip hop! I loved it! I later grew into loving soul music, funk, classic rock, metal, jazz, disco, dance, punk, pop. You name it! I still write & record from time to time. But most of my time is spent spinning music, keeping the party hype, making people smiling & dance. What can DJ Zario do for you?
